Fauldhouse are a good outfit and eventually overpowered Steins and ran away with this match.
Nevertheless there are some positives to take from the game. Fauldhouse won their local league and did well in all cup competitions last season, so this was going to be a challenging game anyway. The fact that Steins held their own for much of the first half and played confident passing football for all of that time demonstrates how this Steins team is developing. There were some fine individual contributions and performances and we look forward to being entertained by these once the season begins proper.
